D40-4662; 1943 Dress & Redingote
17-piece pattern originally by Simplicity, 'The smartly simple (shirtwaist) dress has a gored skirt and a waist that is tucked at the lower edge. Style I has an ever-flattering V-neck (without collar) and short sleeves. Style II has a notched collar and three-quarter sleeves. The redingote, tucked at the shoulderfront, has princess lines at the back forming an inverted pleat at the back waistline'. Note: the dress and redingote are the same length.
3/4' seams are given at underarm (all side) seams and 1/2' seams are given on all other edges.
